SEASONS GREETINGS FROM........
I want to wish everybody a wonderful Christmas. It is a very
special time of the year. We need to be reminded what a great country
we have and that we have the opportunity to celebrate the true meaning
of Christmas. I hope you are able to experience this wonderful joy
and share it with all of your family and friends. Also, I hope you
and yours have a HAPPY NEW YEAR’S.
Phil Taylor, Executive Director
This has been an eventful year and one of large growth especially with the opening of the Blytheville facility and thrift shop. The pulling together and the contributions made by each one of you has been so important in making the transition for the consumers in that area a fairly easy one.
On a broader scale: company wide, I can’t thank you enough for the dedication
shown in your individual areas of responsibility. Each one of you
is a very special and necessary part of making Abilities Unlimited so successful
in being able to meet our mission: “To improve the living and working conditions
and opportunities of people with severe disabilities.” It’s the small
day-to-day tasks and efforts that add to the longevity of the lives of
others with special needs. Without your consistent, daily contributions
this mission could not be met. Thank you for being a team player!
I wish you and your families the happiest of holidays and I look forward
to working with you again in 2003.
Lorene Gibson, Assistant Director
Things have been so busy this year that I have not had time to express
how much I appreciate each of you and the work that you do. I truly
believe that making a difference in the lives of people, especially our
consumers is a noble cause. During this holiday season may you be
blessed with the peace, comfort, and joy of the season. May your
spirit be renewed and refreshed as you visit with friends and family.
May God bless and keep you and your loved ones over the holiday season.
Merry Christmas and a happy New Year!
Patty Brewer, Assistant Director of Consumer Services
I want to wish my AU family many warm wishes this holiday season.
It is a pleasure working with so many people who love what they do for
a living. This organization couldn’t operate without each and every
person it employs! Thank you everyone for putting forth your best
effort to serve our consumers. May God truly bless each and every
one of you!!
Rita Puryear, Waiver Case Manager
May we all notice, and celebrate the simple, beautiful signs that surround
us daily - gifts from God come regularly if we think to look for them.
Please never lose sight of how remarkable you are, and that your love,
and concern for those we serve blesses their lives for seasons to come.
My year would have been so difficult without the love and support extended
to myself and my family. Thank you forever for caring. I long
to see what wonderful possibilities the New Year will bring to all of us,
and I count my blessings that I get to experience the “ride” with such
amazing people such as yourself. Peace and Love always.
Cheryl Heskett, Director of Consumer Services
I want to extend a special message to my employees. I don’t think
many of you realize how much you change the lives of our consumers everyday.
Each and every one of you make such an important and crucial difference
to them. I have seen some of our consumers learn things they felt
was not a possibility. Remember this Christmas season that what you
bring to them will be returned to you in ways you may never fully know.
I wish you a very Merry Christmas and New Year.
Vicky Goodwin, Waiver Coordinator
T’is the season to reflect upon our many blessings, and what better
way to do that than to reflect upon the people who surround us everyday.
We give of ourselves in so many ways here at AUI, but more importantly
is what our consumers give back to us in their accomplishments, and their
hopes for the future. It is a blessing just to know them and especially
to watch them grow. God Bless the consumers and staff of AUI.
Christy Wyatt, Case Manager, AUI Blytheville
Greetings - continued...
To all of my employees and other staff members at Abilities Unlimited: Thanks for all of the wonderful things that you do for our consumers and for me. I pray that all of you and your families have a wonderful Christmas and an Exciting New Year. Kim Head, Waiver Coordinator
I want to express my warmest regards to you and your family this holiday
season. Thanks to everyone for the hard work, support, and
genuine concern you give to the consumers. Your daily efforts truly
make a difference in their lives. More than any of us will ever know.
I wish you all Peace, Hope, and Love this holiday season and always.
DeeDee Daniel, Human Resource Manager
I would like to take this time to tell everyone associated with Abilities
how much each and every one of you mean to me. It is because of your
hard work and dedication that we as an organization are so remarkable.
I am proud to say that I work with a unique and wonderful group of people.
May God bless you and your families with much success and love in the year
to come. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Janet Gregory, Waiver Case Manager/Coordinator
It’s time again to wish you all a Happy Holiday!!! You have spent
yet another year (or maybe your first) at Abilities Unlimited giving your
time, love and care to those who need it. You have had a positive
impact on someone’s life just by being there. What a wonderful outcome
to reflect on. You have tremendous value simply by being you and
giving what you do every day. So, in the coming year, may God Bless
You and watch over you. And may we all have the power, wisdom, and
compassion to do it all again and make someone’s life better than it was
before we came. Thank you so much for being you and being a part
of AU.
Stephanie Gotay, Waiver Case Manager/Coordinator
Thank you each and everyone for the support and friendship you have
extended to me over the past year. It has been a very difficult year
for me and the guidance and aid that you have all extended to me
is very much appreciated.
Chris Paslay, WAC/AD - Rehab. Services Case Manager
The Production Department would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas.
We have seen this as a good year. Our customers have provided many
opportunities for the consumers to work. We have had very little
down time when there was no work available for those who wanted to work.
Now we pause for a couple of days to rest, reflect and enjoy some time
with our friends and families. We hope everyone has a safe and happy
holiday.
Darren May, Production/Manufacturing Manager
