clothing items run from $1-$8. Your donations and shopping help us achieve our mission- to improve the living and working conditions and opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities.

We offer a secure document destruction service for commercial and residential customers. AU complies with privacy laws, HIPAA laws, and the highest standards for security and confidentiality.
Abilities Unlimited’s Production Department performs many task including packaging, light assembly, rework and recycling. Abilities Unlimited is one of the few companies in its market to operate its own tractor-trailers. We also have a warehouse and loading docks to accommodate large projects.

Consumer Services:
Alternative Community Services is a Medicaid Waiver program specifically for persons with severe disabilities. Community services include supportive living, alternative living services, day habilitation services, respite care, and non-medical transportation. Specialized services are designed to provide the person with an alternative to institutional care.
The Division of Developmental Disabilities Services (DDS) has adopted the service delivery philosophy of "Service Options". Service Options are designed so that individuals and their families can have choices in selecting appropriate services in their local community. This philosophy will allow each individual to maximize his or her abilities while enjoying a quality of life commensurate with those abilities. It will also prevent an individual from being forced to access more expensive and intrusive services.
